Omama Alshanqiti

Dr. Omamah Mohammed Al-Shankeeti is an Associate Professor for curriculum and Arabic language teaching methodology and the former dean of the Faculty of Education at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University. She was tasked to many duties and membership of committees at the Ministry of Education and the Education Evaluation Commission (EEC). She also worked as an educational affairs deputy at the Faculty of Education and Curriculum Department Head at Princess Nourah University. Moreover, she was appointed as the Community College Vice- Dean and the Community Service and Continuing Education Vice- Dean at the Northern Border University. She worked as a teacher for the Ministry of Interior at the women's prison in Al-Madinah, then as a teacher at secondary schools as well as an educational supervisor in Jeddah. Furthermore, she was assigned as the women's team head assistant to write the Arabic language syllabuses. She worked as an internal audit for the quality system and as an accredited trainer. She published nine research papers in various educational fields and two books in addition to a collection of stories.
