Ibtesam Yassin

Ibtesam Hussain: an assistant professor at Imam Abdul Rahman Bin Faisal University, Dammam, Saudi Arabia, 2013- Present. Ibtesam has been working in the field of Education since 1978. Started as a preschool teacher, then worked as a team leader, educational supervisor, lecturer, and as an assistant director in the Early Childhood Center, AlKhobar –the first preschool teacher preparation program in Saudi Arabia and the Arabia Gulf countries--. Ibtesam has great interest in designing curricula for preschoolers. Participated in designing “Haya Nagraa”, a pre-reading program that is based on group and individual hands on activities, that includes stories, song, and games where young learners (0-8) can learn to listen, converse, read, and write joyfully while mastering the Arabic language. The program is used widely around Saudi, the Middle East, and many international and special education schools around the globe. In 2013, Ibtesam has obtained an Educational Doctoral Degree in International Educational Leadership from Lehigh University, USA.
