Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, the Ministry of Education organizes The 6th International Education Forum and Exhibition 2018 which will be held on 23rd Rajab “Teaching and Learning in Early Childhood Education.” The Minister of Education Dr. Ahmed Bin Mohammed Al-Issa announced and inaugurated the E-portal of The 6th International Education Forum and Exhibition 2018 on Thursday as the Ministry of Education provides an opportunity for those interested, specialists and workers in early childhood (the public and private sectors) to take advantage of the Forum’ and Exhibition’ knowledge and experiences.
The 6th International Education Forum and Exhibition 2018 will host the United States of America as a chief guest along with participation of many organizations and specialized institutions from the United States, Europe, Asia and other countries. The Forum provides sessions, working papers and advanced studies while the Exhibition offer participation opportunities and explore investment opportunities in the Saudi market.
The Minister of Education, Dr. Ahmed Al-Issa, thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for sponsoring the Forum and Exhibition. Dr. Al-Issa emphasizes that King Salman’s sponsorship and support play main role in motivating responsible committees for preparation, organization and implementation. This is considered as a unique opportunity for transferring and exchanging experiences offered by the Saudi Arabia to all participants from different countries in addition to the knowledge and experiences gained from this International Forum and Exhibition.
The Minister of Education added that focusing on early childhood and selecting this topic for The 6th International Education Forum and Exhibition which coincides with the Kingdom's leadership belief on the importance of early childhood education as Saudi Arabia lunched several national initiatives to support early childhood and to achieve the vision of 2030. The national initiatives in support of early childhood including, but not limited to national transformational initiative directed towards quantitative and qualitative expansion in early childhood programs, “Ertiqa” initiative that aims to strengthen the family engagement in education to promote child development and the Special Education Initiative which focuses on the importance of early intervention in early childhood.
Dr. Al-Issa note that the Forum and Exhibition offer valuable opportunities for all participants, provide partnerships and investment opportunities with international entities specialized in the early childhood field as during the 5th International Education Forum and Exhibition 96 memorandums of understanding have been signed, provide professional development opportunities to the early childhood services providers, present modern tools and resources for kindergartens, nurseries and childhood centers and present researches, studies and latest practices and experiences in this field.
